SESSION lost in IE6 when rettrieving images from other domain

In IE6 only, i get an alert saying

The page or component you request is no longer available: <randomID>
This is normally caused by timeout, or opening too many pages
You have to reload the page and try again

On this page (very many) image sources are retrieved from a different domain, which is somthing that every browser can do

Could it be that any session is lost by this in IE6? Or would ZK have got to do something with it?

There is no workaround. We cannot support IE6.
