We suppose to choose zk framework as base for our new project. Our project must work correctly uder different browsers. First problem we've found there is no support under opera browser, IE 5.0 or lower, Mac's Safari (java script error appeares), etc.
Try to open "Features Live Demo" link under IE 5.0 to make sure with it.
Please try to fix this bug. And it will be an excellent idea to test all components under different browsers.
Please do not leave this thread without attention.
Thank you.

I think for your kind of requirement, you maybe better off with stuff like JSF and tapestry. Also, targetting IE 5 or less will be more irrelevant as time goes on.

Thank you for such fast answer. Why did you recomend Tapestry framework? We need components such as Tree in ZK where most of work doing in browser (javascript).
We do not have enough time to develop such components and there are no good javascript programmers. I will be very thank you for your detail answer.

Well Tapestry/JSF and the likes are more mature and widely-used. They do have Tree component as well. See under contrib->components at http://jakarta.apache.org/tapestry/
However, those framework misses the simplicity of ZK.

We plan to support Safari and Opera, but the schedule is not set yet. Please put it into the feature request.
IE5 or lower is hardly to support for Ajax-based product, due to the lack of the DOM support. Would you show me why you need the support of IE5?

Tapestry is quite different from ZK.
Like Struts, Tapestry is more mature for being ready for years.
On the other hand, ZK takes the advantage of Ajax, emerging recently, to bring the desktop programming model to Web development. The cost is the efforts to support different browsers.
If you prefer the event-driven component-based model, a modern markup language and plenty componets, ZK is the choice. If you prefer the support of plenty browsers, you might have to wait -- I bet it is still not a good reason not to use ZK :)
