I would like to change the loading indicator for every zul page without having to change the style in every page. Specifically, I would like to change the loading icon and it's size to a custom one.

.z-loading-icon { background-image: url('image') }

.z-loading { ... }

you can create one css file for your global styles and include it globally into every page e.g. by configuring it in a stylesheet element of your language-addon.xml:

e.g.

/src/main/resources/metainfo/zk/language-addon.xml

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<language-addon>
    <addon-name>my-zk-webapp</addon-name>
    <language-name>xul/html</language-name>

    <stylesheet href="/css/globalstyles.css"/>
</language-addon>

ZK will automatically load this language-addon during startup and include the stylesheet into every page <head> loaded within your web application
