I have a Controller in which I am subscribing to the application event queue.

From the docs: "When an application-scope event queue is used, the server push is enabled for each desktop that subscribers belong to. In additions, a thread is created to forward the event to subscribers."

However, it seems like each client subscribing to the queue is generating at least one thread each to listen to the queue and I don't understand why. It's killing my servers pretty rapidly as I have around 1000 clients active at all times.

Additionally I don't understand why I am seeing a HTTP POST /app/zkcomet?dtid=z_3be every five minutes which is usually stuck for five minutes and returns as 503 service unavailable.

I subscribe to the queue using queue.subscribe(new EventListener() { .... }, false) to make sure I don't run async.

Please advice.
