Problems with protected worksheet

I've encountered two problems concerned with protected sheets in workbook.

There is no possibility to clear unlocked cells: selecting range and pressing delete button take no effect.
Copy/paste doesn't work: you have to discard copied cells selection first.

I can't reproduce what you mentioned. If I delete row 2 and shift up in a protected sheet (image below), cells in row 2 become locked. You could describe explicit steps you performed so that we can reproduce it.
it's a known issue, please check http://tracker.zkoss.org/browse/ZSS-1310 you could consider applying the patch attached in the tracker.

For issue 1, I misunderstand what you mean previously. Now I can reproduce it. It should be related to the same bug ZSS-1310
